I found a transcription of this song at Nevada, but it needed a capo.  My 
version doesn't.  Also, my intro riff transcription is different.

That 'A/C#bass' chord is played like this:  x4222x , or add the 'A'
bass note, like so:  54222x.  Also, leading into the chorus, try a
variation of opening up the treble strings, like this:  542000.
